MMMMmmmmmmmm the Water Meetings; a magical place for so many. The place where Pendle Water is joined by Admergill Beck. Barrowford has no claim to them really, as they lay in Blacko, however as it is so easy to get to from Barrowford, it became that magical outdoor playground for generations of families.
As we are still in the winter months though, I thought I would share my 2010 Christmas card image with you. I got extremely wet, cold feet crossing Pendle Water to get this one, but the cold was well worth it, this is a really special place to me, one where I played regular as a kid, and one I still love to visit now.
